It seems like it has been a long time coming. For those that know me, my husband completed his second bout of cancer treatment that went from January to July of this year. Needless to say, when you have strong chemo pumping through your veins, you don't feel like doing much except making it through that day and getting ready for the next. It has also made me think, actually it hammered it home to me, just how fragile life really is! Do not take anything for granted, especially your friends and loved ones!!! Tell them every day how much they mean to you and, yes, that you love them. You never know if it might be your last chance.
Anyway, because of our battle with that pesky thing called cancer, we have stayed close to home. So NOW that it is over, we get to play!! The limo will be here in about an hour and by early afternoon-ish we should be dipping our toes in the Gulf of Mexico and brushing sand from our feet.
I will be on the computer as I can and will post the more interesting things.... like maybe.... not promising..... but possibly P A R A S A I L I N G!
Hope to see this sunset again tonight.
(picture taken by me - same place, different time)
Battle hard, stay safe, and love you all!
Hugs and kisses...MUAHHHH
